i love Lord of the Rings, too. my list is up!
Wow... A book list with a couple i have actually read!
You know...altho Stephen King is one of my favorite authors, I've never read his Dark Tower set! I need to do that, and soon :-)
I loved your list! #s 4, 5, 10, 11 & 12 are some of my favs, too :-)
I love Anne Rice and GWTW
I'd have to include several from your list into a 13 of mine. :)
I'm not a big fan of fantasy or sci-fi, but I did enjoy the Lord of the Rings books very much, and the Chronicles of Narnia (although not on your list) is one of my favorites of all time.
Why does it not surprise me that several of my faves are on your list? Great minds and all that.
Hmm, I'm only familiar with #4, 5, and 12. I'll have to check out the rest. :)
Thanks for visiting my TT!
I knew J.K. Rowling was a genious when I read in her first Harry Potter book about Quidditch (sp?). I was so amazed that I could completely visualize and understand all of the rules to a game that is imaginary. Very cool. I couldn't wait to see the first movie just to watch the quidditch tournament!
We're about to start watching the Lord Of the Rings series on DVD (again). All of us have been in the mood for it lately. Something about this weather, the rain and wind... perfect!
I purchased Lof the R but I am a sorry reader and have not read anything on your list! How nice is that that you sisters blog together...I can't get my sister to read mine...they are afraid,,,VERY afraid!, MUAHHAAA!
I'm not familiar with all the books you listed, but some I have read and they are wonderful.
Happy T13!
Great list, thanks for stopping by. Be blessed.
The Wheel Of Time series is fantastic! Although, I did get sort of bogged down in book 6 and haven't yet caught up with the rest of the series.
I love a good book!
